fireproofing
Our Fireproofing Division is proficient in applying various types of fireproofing, including cementitious and intumescent, to achieve the required fire rating in accordance with Underwriters Laboratories’ (UL) designs.
Both applications act as a thermal barrier on steel to prevent structures from collapsing and can achieve ratings from 1-4 hours. Our applicators are well trained in both application methods.
Cementitious fireproofing is ideal for concealed spaces, while intumescent fireproofing is fitting for exposed architectural steel, to give an aesthetically pleasing look.
Cassidy’s fireproofing team is skilled at applying both applications to industrial facilities and structures, such as:
• Hospitals
• Nursing Homes
• High-Rises
• Schools
• Office Buildings
We are a proud member of the National Fireproofing Contractors of America (NFCA), which allows us to stay up to date with current building codes and safety measures.
No matter the project, our team is always ready to provide customers with exceptional service.
